Office Manager
2nd year at VGM
Hello! My name is Gigi Yam-Amenuvor. I am happy to be returning to VGM for my 2nd year as an office manager. I am excited to be serving the families of A Village Green Montessori with Shelly Sisk.
I grew up in Hong Kong, China and moved to the U.S. when I was 19. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management Information system from Northern Illinois University. I started my career as an IT project manager. After a decade in the industry, I took some time off from the corporate world to focus on my growing family. It was during that time I found fulfillment by serving nonprofit organizations. I particularly enjoyed volunteering as a student mentor.
My husband, James and I have 3 sons. Vitus and Magnus are 8th and 7th grade students of Highland Middle school and Aurelius is a kindergartener in Adler Park school. We enjoy the great outdoors. Our favorite things to do as a family is to explore trails and visit National parks. In my free time I enjoys sound meditation & barre as well as serving with our church. I love being a member of the VGM staff. I look forward to serving each of you in the VGM community.
