A bit about the exceptional quality of the food offerings from Chef Don:

Taste for Kids, Inc. is an Illinois-licensed food service provider that is proud to deliver healthy school meals. Our food is made from scratch daily with a kid-friendly focus and is prepared in a healthy manner. We use locally-sourced foods whenever possible. We do not use prepared foods which are often high in sodium, high fructose corn syrup, and trans fats. We utilize healthier cooking methods such as roasting, baking, and steaming. These methods require far less fat and help retain vitamins and nutrients, as well as flavor.

We are constantly developing local sourcing relationships and we believe in supporting local farms. We believe organic foods can offer viable benefits and will use them when available and practical. At a minimum, all of our chicken and beef is antibiotic- and hormone-free.

Taste For Kids believes that providing great tasting healthy food in a safe and environmentally friendly manner is the right thing to do for our children. We welcome your questions, comments, and input.
