When I was searching for a Montessori school for my 2 year old, I was told – it’s all about the Directress or Director. After that insight it was an easy decision after knowing Ann Phillips and then meeting the rest of the teaching staff! They are everything that a Montessori school should be. They embody kindness and grace, they are patient and understanding in an ever changing and demanding environment. Lincoln has already learned so much in the short time he has been there and I can’t wait to see how he advances in his years at VGM! My husband and I are VERY happy with our choice and couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else. If you are looking for a Montessori school done right, then stop looking and rush to register – space is limited here for a reason!

I would highly recommend VGM to any parent looking for an excellent learning experience for his or her child. Not only are the teachers amazing, but they are caring, compassionate and great communicators with the parents. My daughter has attended since she was three years old and I’ve seen her grow in ways I could have never predicted (and I was sure this was going to be a life changing experience for her). Overall, VGM far surpassed my highest expectations. I was looking for an environment in which my child could learn at her own pace, exert her independence, learn from older kids and share her knowledge with younger children. (The classrooms are a mix of 3,4 & 5-year-olds. There’s also a 2’s program but that was implemented after we started.) And that is exactly what she’s taken from the experience and then some.

I can’t think a better place for a child to learn and grow. VGM is a supportive environment that encourages and empowers life long learners. It fosters creativity, kindness and accountability and our children absolutely loved going there every day. It truly sets your children up for success in education and in life! I’d very highly recommend.
